Ethical, societal and privacy Framework interim report (D1.6)

This deliverable provides STRATEGY partners with the interim report on the ethical, social and privacy issues that have been considered in the selection, development and implementation of new or existing (pre)standards within the project. These are aspects that should be considered during pre-standardisation activities and when creating a pre-standardisation framework. The importance of ethics and personal data protection has already been highlighted in the area of security standardisation in Europe on top of the crisis management field. As there are no comprehensive ethical, legal and societal criteria, this deliverable provides an overview of ethical, legal and social principles and issues that could be taken into account in the development, assessment and implementation of standards in the area of crisis management.
